Objectives

  • Being able to prepare, draw up and check the loading documents while optimizing communication with the loading team and the crew and ensuring the flight's safety
  • Mastering the screens and operations on the computer tool in compliance with the rules in effect

Contents

  1. Presenting the regulatory framework, safety and security rules
  2. Knowing weight, fuel and balance
  3. Defining the unit load devices, loading codes and holds
  4. Reading and writing Loading Instructions – Reports (LIR)
  5. Reading and writing Load Sheands (ECD)
  6. Explaining the LMC procedure (changing the Load sheet)
  7. Explaining the Load Distribution Messages (LDM)
  8. Handling medium and long haul flights
  9. Raising awareness about potential risks related with human factors (lack of vigilance, stress, habits…)


On the job exercices all along the training session in order to put the skills acquired into practice Certificate of Qualifications to IATA functions
